How to delete all screenshots on iPhone
Short answer
Your iPhone collects all screenshots in one place: open Photos, tap Collections, scroll to Media Types and tap Screenshots. Tap Select, drag your finger across the screenshots to select them in bulk, tap the trash icon and confirm. In an album you can also use Select All. Empty “Recently Deleted” afterwards to free the space immediately.
Delete all screenshots on iPhone
- Open Screenshots. In Photos, tap Collections, scroll to Media Types and tap Screenshots.
- Select them. Tap Select, then Select All if shown, or drag across the screenshots.
- Delete. Tap the trash icon and confirm.
- Free the space. Empty Photos → Collections → Recently Deleted.
Keep the few screenshots that matter
Among hundreds of screenshots there are usually a few worth keeping – a ticket, a recipe, a chat. Deleting all at once risks losing them. Going through them in Gallery Guru is quick: swipe right on the keepers, left on the rest, check the review grid, delete.
Stop screenshots from piling up
- After taking a screenshot, tap the thumbnail and choose Done → Delete Screenshot if you only needed it once – or Copy and Delete to paste it straight into a chat.
- Make a monthly habit: Gallery Guru can remind you to sort new photos.
Frequently asked questions
Do screenshots take up a lot of space?
Each one is small (usually a few hundred KB up to a few MB), but they add up – thousands of screenshots can be several gigabytes.
Are screen recordings in the same album?
No, they have their own Screen Recordings collection under Media Types – and they are much larger, so check them too.
